Long Exposures

Long exposures in photography is so versatile; you can use long exposures for so many different genres in photography and each image will be completely different. I think long exposures are good when there are lights involved... One of my favourite things to do with long exposures is capturing lights. For example using a tripod and a long exposure and release the shutter and wait for cars to pass by (try and find somewhere busy with a pavement or somewhere you can stand safely) after a couple of seconds release your shutter and your outcome will be a blur of car lights. The reason why i like this is because it's so fun and all the different colours make the picture interesting.
